Shade Master Turf
Hardwearing, slow growing and shade tolerant, Shade Master Turf is the ideal groundcover for gardens where trees, fences or buildings cast their shadows for part of the day.
Shade Master is grown for approximately 18 months and is produced using no plastic netting. The use of Poa Supina which is native to Alpine regions creates a medium textured low maintenance lawn.
Typical seed Mix:
- 50% Poa Supina
- 50% Poa Pratensis

Turf is cut to measure 1m² and weigh 18kg – saturated weight may be up to 22kg.
Extremely high shade tolerance.
Drought tolerant.
Good year round colour that is resilient to climate change.
Close mowing capability.
High shoot density with unique stoloniferous creeping ability.
Low maintenance requiring up to 50% less mowing than a conventional ryegrass turf.
Compatible with most growing mediums found throughout the UK however this turf is not suitable for areas with poor drainage or waterlogging.
