Self Binding Gravel

Self binding gravel (also known as hoggin path or breedon gravel) is a mix of fines and small gravel fraction (0-10mm) which when laid and roller compacted forms a self binding durable and stable surface.

Suitable for footpaths (min depth 50mm) or light vehicular use (100mm depth), this product is a favourite on golf courses and parks as well as domestic properties.

Self binding gravel is available in 850kg bulk bags or in bulk loose loads from 20 tonnes upwards.

Each bulk bag will cover approximately 12m2 at a depth of 50mm (suitable for pedestrian use) or 6m2 at a depth of 100mm (recommended depth for vehicular use).
