Mushroom Compost
Mushroom compost is a quality, economical soil conditioner. It improves the structure of heavy clay soils and thin sandy soils, adding humus and essential plant nutrients, whilst improving soil structure.
Mushroom compost is excellent on the vegetable garden (Brasicas do especially well), flower beds and any other garden soils.

What is Mushroom Compost?
A blend of composted agricultural straw and animal manure with added lime that has been used to grow mushrooms. Once the farm has grown its crop of mushrooms with the compost it is then steam sterilised to ensure that the product is free from mushroom spores and weeds.
